Police release video of people they want to speak to about theft of eight sausage dogs

Police searching for thieves who stole eight sausage dogs have released CCTV of people they want to trace.

The pets were stolen when raiders smashed their way into a property in Burton Road, Acresford near Measham.

The five female and three male miniature wired dachshunds were taken between 11.30pm and midnight on Wednesday February 10.

Officers say the animals were pedigree show dogs and worth a substantial amount of money.

Three people were filmed in the area at the time the dogs were stolen and officers wish to speak to them - and anyone who may have seen them or recognises them.

The dogs were taken from owners Cath and Chris Lee.
