A further 64 people with coronavirus have died in Nottinghamshire in the past week.
While health experts in Nottinghamshire say the they are beginning to see "green shoots", they urged people to avoid getting complacent at such a pivotal time in the coronavirus pandemic, particularly as the more transmissible Kent variant has now become the dominant strain.
Dr Andy Haynes, executive lead for the Nottingham and Nottinghamshire Integrated Care System, said deaths from Covid-19 had started to decline in hospitals after roughly a month.
He did, however, emphasise there are "still a lot of poorly people in hospital" during a public health briefing on Friday, February 19.
