Celebrated this week in the latest edition of the Memory Lane supplement produced by Nottingham Post, here are some of the photographs of the city and its architecture that were featured.
Memory Lane supplements have appeared for the last four weeks highlighting in pictures different elements of Nottingham's and the East Midlands' past.
There are two more editions in the series.
