Finding themselves stuck at home with their 10-month-old son, Gareth Back and Charlotte Ashton, from Welton, wanted something to keep them occupied during the first national coronavirus lockdown.

After spotting a set of concrete ornaments in a friend's home, the pair decided to attempt at making some of their own.

Following the success of the initial creation and fuelled by their passion for interior décor, they now have over 20 unique concrete home wear pieces listed on their website and say business is going strong.

Gareth Back, Co-founder of Concrete Notes, told Lincolnshire Live how experimenting with pieces for their own home turned into a promising side hustle.
