Live updates as 'large fire' breaks out at scrapyard

Multiple fire crews were at the scene of a large blaze which broke out at a scrapyard in Nottingham.

The fire is reported to have started at around 12.30pm on Monday, February 22, at the Pinball Scrapyard in Bulwell.

Crews from Stockhill, Arnold, Hucknall and Ilkeston fire stations were all at the scene tackling the blaze.

It has successfully been put out with no injuries or damage. It was just scrap that was on fire, the incident commander at the scene told Nottinghamshire Live.

A Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service tweet said: "We are currently in attendance at a large fire at Pinball Scrapyard in Bulwell, after a call at 12:32PM.

"Firefighters from Stockhill, Arnold, Hucknall and Ilkeston fire stations are in attendance."
