Residents have voiced their shock after police officers descended on a street church event held in a pub car park over the weekend.
Nottinghamshire Police confirmed it had issued a £10,000 fine to the organiser of the event, which was held in the Top House pub car park in Bardney Drive, Bulwell.
Officers first attended the event at around 12.15pm on Saturday, February 20, after the force issued previous warnings to organisers about hosting such events during lockdown.
Around 30 people attended the event and residents in the area say they heard music being played from a sound system. Three tents had been set up and food was also being served.
Bill Simpson, who has lived opposite the pub for the past 20 years, told Nottinghamshire Live: "I think it was daft.
