Leicester City fans could be back at the King Power Stadium before the end of the current season if things go to plan.
Supporters have been unable to attend matches at the stadium for almost a year because of the coronavirus pandemic, with the 4-0 win over Aston Villa on March 9, 2020, being the last game in the Premier League to see a full capacity crowd.
Fans did return to stadiums for a time in November, however, with Leicester remaining in tier 3 restrictions over that time, no City fans were able to return.
Prime minister Boris Johnson has now confirmed that the plan is to allow football fans to return from May 17, at the earliest.
