Work to transform the former Toys R Us store in Nottingham is well underway, nearly three years after it closed down.
The toy superstore store at Riverside Retail Park closed down in April 2018 after the retailer went into administration.
The huge outlet, off Electric Avenue, is set to be divided into three separate units.
JD Sports will be opening there in one of the units. It is believed Home Bargains will also be moving in.
Plans were submitted to Nottingham City Council in 2019.
The plans state: "Whilst Home Bargains do not currently have a presence in Nottingham (with their nearest store in Beeston within the neighbouring authority of Broxtowe Borough Council), JD has two stores within the city centre, on Clumber Street and within the Victoria Centre.
