Budget high street giant Poundland has revealed the date for when its 'hibernating' Nottinghamshire store will reopen to shoppers.
The retailer has confirmed its Mansfield branch, inside the Four Seasons Shopping Centre, will 'reawaken' this week after Boris Johnson unveiled his lockdown roadmap.
The shop will be open for business from 8am on Friday, February 26, and is one of 29 Poundland stores set to reopen following the temporary closure.
The company says it took the decision to close the 29 stores last month after customer numbers "dropped sharply" when non-essential stores closed.
However, in anticipation that the Prime Minister's announcement will lead to a "steady return to normality", the company has revealed its plans to reopen the town centre store.
