Safety improvements on a dangerous A5 junction do not go "anywhere near far enough”, a local MP has said.
After several fatalities, new warning signs were put up and new anti-skid surfacing was laid around the Woodford Lane junction of the road, CoventryLive reported.
But, after a further crash last week, Nuneaton MP Marcus Jones said more changes were needed at the junction between Hinckley and Atherstone.
Mr Jones is calling for a further meeting with Highways England to ask for something more to be done after two people were left injured in a crash on Wednesday, February 17.
Mr Jones said: “This is something I’ve been raising with Highways England for some time.
“Those talks led to some safety improvements, but it’s becoming clear that those improvements don’t go anywhere near far enough.
