The Handmade Burger Co site in Lincoln will re-open following lockdown as part of revival plans for the restaurant chain.
The brand has been saved by a former worker, who will bring back a number of the companies' outlets across the country, including in Lincoln.
After collapsing in January 2020, 19 branches and more than 280 jobs disappeared overnight. Any thoughts of a resurrection for the company, looked to have disappeared when the pandemic struck shortly after.
However, later this year the previous site in Brayford Wharf will be re-opened. No firm date has been set yet, but late May, heading into June, is the initial target.
The Aspirational Brands business vehicle is driving the re-launch, led by chief executive Adam Howitt, who is one of the new owners.
