Derby County's fate is back in their own hands after Rotherham United's goalless draw at Luton Town on Tuesday night.
Paul Warne's side played out a stalemate at Kenilworth Road, their final game-in-hand on their fellow relegation battlers.
Rams and Sheffield Wednesday fans were following the game with interest and will be relieved at the result.
It means Derby can beat the Owls at Pride Park - a big ask given Wayne Rooney's side have lost their last six matches - and survive regardless of what Rotherham do at Cardiff City.
A draw will still be enough if the Millers do not win, but if Derby are victorious then they do not have to check anyone else's results.
