Boris Johnson has said his government is developing digital vaccine certification in time for "summer," with transport secretary Grant Shapps indicating the NHS app would be adapted to contain the necessary information.
European officials have also announced plans for an EU-wide "Green Digital Certificate" to be operating by the beginning of June, although it is not clear if this would be available to visitors from the UK.
