Cigarettes and clothes burglar appears at court alongside sister

A 46-year-old burglar has admitted to breaking into two Derbyshire businesses and stealing clothes and cigarettes.

Glyn Crapper admitted both offences when he appeared at Derby Crown Court alongside his sister Kelly Crapper.

She, as well as accomplices Samuel Coggin and Stephanie Coggin, pleaded guilty to handling stolen goods in relation to one of the break-ins.

The brief hearing was told how Glyn Crapper's first offence saw him burgle Go Outdoors, in Main Road, Hathersage, on April 6, 2018 and take the clothing.

Ten days later, on April 16, 2018, he broke into the Co-operative in Firs Parade, Matlock, and stole cigarettes.

No further details of the offences were revealed during the short hearing and legal representatives for all four defendants successfully applied for pre-sentence reports to be prepared.
