More than 100 patients at a Leicester GP surgery are yet to receive their second Covid jab doses despite more than 12 weeks passing since their first.
There are 111 patients registered with the Heron GP Practice, based at the Merlyn Vaz Health Centre, on Spinney Hill Road, who are yet to have their follow-up injection.
A patient told LeicestershireLive: “They are refusing to arrange appointments for second Covid vaccines to vulnerable patients, because as they say "they don't have any Pfizer vaccines".
“Some of these patients had their first vaccine 15 weeks ago. The surgery continues to refer these patients to 119 and the vaccine hub all of whom say they can't arrange second vaccines because the GP surgery arranged the first one.
