Cycling robber steals woman's handbag in Lincoln

A cyclist stole a woman's handbag in Lincoln.

The incident reportedly happened between 7.15pm and 7.30pm on Tuesday, November 23 as the 23-year-old woman was walking on St Andrew's Street and Charles Street in the city.

As the woman approached the Bridge Central Conferencing Event venue, a white male wearing dark clothing cycled past the victim, taking her black handbag with him, police said.

He then cycled off towards Portland Street.

Officers at Lincolnshire Police are now appealing for dashcam footage and any other information which could help them with their enquiries.

Members of the public that can help with the investigation are asked to call 101 quoting incident number 376 of Tuesday, November 23.
