Lincolnshire's director of public health has pleaded with people to continue doing one key thing when taking their lateral flow tests at home.

Rules in England over Coronavirus testing changed today, meaning people testing positive on a LFT but not showing any symptoms no longer need to take a follow-up PCR test, in a move that will help lower isolation time and ease the pressure on the Covid test supply chain.

But today Professor Derek Ward, pleaded with the people of Lincolnshire to continue registering all their tests online after they have taken them.

Speaking to The BBC, Professor Ward said: "There is a concern locally that we won't pick up as many infections (now that the rules have been changed) so it's really important that if anyone does test positive on a lateral flow test that they go onto the Government website and they register it.
