A new Mexican grill restaurant is coming to Lincoln's Cornhill Quarter. Planning bosses have approved an application for signage to be installed at the empty until between Phase Eight and Everyman Cinema.
According to the designs, the restaurant will be called Tortilla, and will serve “real California burritos and tacos”. The application includes a number of neon illuminated signs to be hung both internally and externally.
Planning documents also show an outdoor seating area with branded planters outside. The application was put into City of Lincoln Council in April and approval was granted on Tuesday, June 21, but an opening date has yet to be confirmed.
