Urgent police manhunt underway as suspects flee after machete disorder

Police officers are conducting a search for suspects on the run who may have injured two men with a machete. Officers received several calls about disorder involving a man armed with what was reported to be a machete at an address in St Peters Avenue in the Moorland area of Lincoln just before 9.30pm on Tuesday, June 21, 2022.

Two men were found at the scene with serious injuries. One man in his 20s had a wound to his leg and a man in his 50s had a fracture to his skull and jaw.

Both men are receiving hospital treatment. The suspects had left the scene by the time police arrived and a manhunt is now being conducted.
