Life on the Lincoln street where huge Isaac Newton mural brings a 'joy to the eyes'

A student living in a Lincoln house with an impressive Isaac Newton mural on its side has said that she only discovered the mural once they had moved in. The impressive mural is located on Kirkby Street in Sincil Bank and was completed in April 2021 by French-born artist Zabou.

It depicts the famous English physicist and mathematician Sir Isaac Newton, renowned for his scientific revolution of the 17th century. Residents in the area have said it is "absolutely amazing" and said they keep a close eye on it to make sure it is not vandalised.

Ellie Calow, 20, is a second-year University of Lincoln student and lives with two other students in the house with the huge mural and said it's the first thing people think about when she says where she lives. She said that it was only when they moved in that they discovered the huge
