Monty Don, the renowned face of BBC's Gardeners' World, advises that a timely trim of rose bushes can lead to more plentiful and larger blooms.
Engaging in this simple gardening activity during September is far less taxing than other times, as roses require only minimal pruning to set them up for the colder months ahead.
