An 80-year-old man who died after he was attacked in a Leicestershire park has been named by neighbours as Bhim Kohli, a father of three and grandad of two. A boy and a girl aged 14 and one boy and two girls aged 12 have been arrested by Leicestershire Police on suspicion of murder.
Mr Kohli, whom a neighbour said was fit and well and loved his allotment, died in hospital due to injuries he sustained in the attack in Franklin Park, in Braunstone Town, at around 6.30pm on Sunday. The attack is believed to have happened close to the park entrance in Bramble Way.
He was walking his dog when he was targeted, and was just a few seconds from the safety of his home, his daughter previously told LeicestershireLive. Police have previously said that he was seriously assaulted by a group of "young people" who left the
