Acclaimed pub in 'hideaway village' near Peak District named in Michelin guide

A Derbyshire restaurant that's already picked up its fair share of awards has been named by the Holy Grail of food critics, Michelin, on its guide of high-quality restaurants. The Bulls Head in Holymoorside, a small village just a stone's throw from the Peak District, was awarded an Inspector's addition to The Great Britain and Ireland selection of the Michelin guide in July 2024.

Being listed in this prestigious guide among the best restaurants in the country is an accolade Patron and Head Chef, Mark Aisthorpe, has dreamed of from the moment he walked into the the pub. The Michelin Guide documents The Bulls Head as having gained a "strong following" for being "gastronomically adventurous" and having a passionate team who make a real effort to welcome their guests.
