Hundreds of cannabis plants seized during police raid in Buxton

Two men have been charged by police after officers executed a search warrant at an address in Buxton and found more than 800 cannabis plants.

Derbyshire police carried out the warrant at a commercial address in Staden Lane at 12.30pm on Monday, September 2. Two men were arrested on suspicion of cannabis production and were later charged in connection with the investigation.

They were remanded in custody to appear at Stockport Magistrates' Court on Wednesday, September 4.

Dorjan Kaca, 30, and Ledjan Papajani, 39, both of no fixed address, were further remanded into custody and are next due to appear at Manchester Crown Court, in Minshull Street, on October 9, 2024.
