The colleagues of an adored Derby salesman who died in a late-night city crash have paid a touching tribute as they make efforts to send his body home. Ricardo Santos, 23, moved to Derby from Porto, Portugal, when he was a child and friends say he was passionate about his home country, adding that he would "talk about it on the daily".
Ricardo was killed after his black Seat Ibiza, which had been travelling along Warwick Avenue towards Kenilworth Avenue, collided with a tree at around 10pm on Friday, August 23. Ricardo was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
A salesman at Motorpoint in Derby, Ricardo was a popular character at the branch and thoroughly enjoyed working with his tight-knit team - a team that colleague of three years, Jason Barks,
