Cleaning gurus have issued a stark warning to anyone who owns Apple AirPods or headphones. The experts at Which? have strongly recommended that those who haven't cleaned their headphones recently should consider doing so.
In a recent Instagram Reel, Which? detailed their findings after conducting tests on various headphones, reports the Mirror. They shared: "In our tests, we took swabs of 11 pairs of in-ear and earbud headphones and sent these off to the lab for analysis."
"The results? We found bacteria living in these devices. In the lab, we found bacteria from people's skin, as you'd expect, but also the types of germs you'd commonly find in soil and dust. And from pets."
