A Coronation Street actor has seemingly spilled the beans on a significant aspect of Gail Platt's highly anticipated departure plot.
Earlier in the year, it was announced that Helen Worth, who portrays Gail, would be exiting the series after a 50-year tenure. The showrunners have assured fans that her exit will tug at the heartstrings - and so it should.
The soap icon's dramatic departure is said to be part of a "major" new chapter for the Platt family. Initial plans included a comeback for Gail's former spouse, Martin Platt, played by Sean Wilson.
However, a recent slip by a Corrie star might have given away how Gail will bid farewell - and it's bound to cause a stir. This week, Dee-Dee Bailey actress Channique Sterling-Brown posted a behind-the-scenes photo from the set on her Instagram Story, reports the Liverpool
