A Derby branch of Lloyds has announced its closure for early 2025. The Allenton branch will be closing its doors this winter, with affected customers directed to the St Peter's Street branch, in Derby city centre, as well as mobile banking services.
The branch has announced its closure after looking at customer behaviour in the bank and deciding that most of its customers now use mobile banking rather than coming into the physical branch.
The Osmaston Road bank will close its doors for the final time on January 23, 2025, and will move operations to the other two branches nearest. The branch has also released a document on its website detailing alternative options for its affected customers, with Long Eaton also mentioned alongside the St Peter's Street bank.
