Every single day, the People's Postcode Lottery is played by thousands of people across Derby and Derbyshire. Local residents living across the city, wider county and across the UK can sign up with their postcode and pay £12 per month to take part in the daily draws, with 33 percent of every ticket purchased going to charity.
Players can win £1,000 in the daily prize, which doubles to £2,000 if players have two tickets and trebles to £3,000 if they have three. Since it was founded in 2005, the organisation has raised more than £1 billion for good causes across the UK and continues to work closely with local community projects.
