ITV Emmerdale's Jeff Hordley, known for his role as Cain Dingle, has left fans stunned after a throwback snap of him in Coronation Street surfaced on social media. Before becoming a regular in the Dales, the 54 year old actor had two stints on Corrie, first as a nightclub manager in May 1997 and then as a character named Wayne in November 1998.
The rediscovered photo from his 1997 appearance shows him clad in a grey turtleneck and blazer, with Corrie's Mike Baldwin (Johnny Briggs) in the background. Fans took to Reddit to express their surprise, with one saying: "Well, I didn't know that! Wasn't watching either Corrie or Emmerdale then. That's a very good photo of Jeff Hordley."
Another admitted: "I was watching Corrie then, but I have no recollection at all that JH was in it."
