A man in his 40s has died after a car crashed into a tree on a Leicestershire road. A man has been arrested in connection with the incident, which happened just before 9.30pm on Saturday (September, 14).on the B5000 near Pinwall, close to the Leicestershire/Warwickshire border.
A Leicestershire Police spokesperson said today (Tuesday, September 17) that a 51-year-old man had been arrested in connection with the crash. He has since been released under investigation while inquiries continue.
A spokesperson for the force said it was working to "establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident". East Midlands Ambulance Service was also in attendance.
