A new banking hub looks set to be introduced in Market Harborough. The service will be a shared banking space, similar to a traditional branch, but available to everyone regardless of who their account is with.
The space will include a counter service operated by Post Office employees, where customers can withdraw and deposit cash, make bill payments and carry out regular transactions, the UK’s cash access and ATM network, LINK, has said. There will also be private spaces where customers can speak to representatives from their own bank for more complicated matters that require specialist knowledge or privacy, LINK added.
The hub will work on a rotating basis, so there will be staff from different banks available there on different days. Cash Access UK will be delivering the scheme and
