Prison absconder 'may have told people in Skegness he is on charity walk from Land’s End to John O’Groats'

A man who has absconded from prison may have told people in Skegness that he is on a charity walk from Land’s End to John O’Groats, police have said. Aaron Wood, 54, absconded from North Sea Camp in Boston yesterday morning (Monday).

Now, police have reason to believe that he may have spoken to people in the area yesterday (September 23). He may also have made reference to having completed another leg of the walk already.

Police have released three CCTV images of Wood as well as a full description below.

Lincolnshire Police said: "We are appealing for anyone in Skegness who may have spoken with a man claiming to be on a charity walk from Land’s End to John O’Groats to get in touch.
