The heartbroken mum of Lincoln murder victim Holly Bramley has paid a touching tribute to her in a new poem - pledging she "will always be in our hearts". Annette Bramley said Holly's killer could never take away "her love, beauty, mind and soul".

Holly was just 26 when she was brutally murdered by her husband Nicholas Metson at their flat in Lincoln. Metson killed his wife and, with the help of his friend Joshua Hancock, disposed of her body parts in a river in March 2023.

Metson was sentenced to a minimum of 19 years and 316 days in prison at Lincoln Crown Court for the murder and for perverting the course of justice. Hancock was given a sentence of three years and three months in prison.
