Derbyshire Live readers have been sharing their views on plans for a nine-storey tower boasting nearly 200 apartments set to be positioned directly opposite Derby Cathedral.
The ambitious plans, proposed by Wavensmere D3 Limited, involve the construction of 195 flats with a cafe and gym on the disused old police station patch off Full Street, marking the second phase of the touted "Cathedral Green" project.
Set to join Derby's cityscape near the River Derwent, this potential new building would offer up a mere nine vehicle parking bays and 40 bike slots. Derby City Council's planning officers have recommended that the plans are approved leaving councillors to make the final decision.
