A drink-driving barman lost his job and his licence after rolling his car in a Leicestershire village. Aidan Bremner is also £21,000 in debt after wrecking his Mercedes A Class in the late night crash.
Bremner had been working at a bar in Nottingham, where three people had bought him drinks. As he made his way home he crashed on Leicester Road in Twyford, which is between Melton and Leicester.
Leicestershire Police were called and arrived to find the Mercedes on its roof and Bremner standing nearby. Prosecutor Tracy Lovejoy told Leicester Magistrates' Court that Bremner's car had "skidded" before overturning.
